apricot tarts

i adore fresh apricots! a favorite of the pre summer fruits. the first batch i brought home was devoured before anything could become of them.  this second batch turned into tiny tarts. wildly tart tarts.

rhubarb blueberry crisps

i have been waiting. less than patiently. for the rhubarb in the garden.
winter is long. and spring is slow to catch on in these parts.
i finally gave in and raided the freezer.
